Portland Historical Building : Couch Schoolhouse
We are Your Real Estate Resource for this Historic District!
According to the Historic Resource Inventory of Portland, the Couch Schoolhouse was built in 1884 by the Couch family for their grandchildren. It was then converted into a residence around 1920 and was the home of Madam Reed of the Catlin French Department for many years. Most recently it has housed local small businesses. In May of 2019 we moved into this beautiful space after over a year of renovations. We pride ourselves in being the real estate resource for this historic district and all of the Portland Metro and this new space allows us to center ourselves in the city while also being a crucial part of it’s history.
